Boltless Shelving
Industrial Storage has new and used boltless or rivet style shelving. Boltless shelving utilizes a steel support structure generally with 5/8” particle board shelves. Other types of wood or wire deck are also common shelving surfaces. Heavy-duty 14-gauge shelf supports act as sway bracing for fully open sides
Advantages
- Can be up to 96” wide and 48” deep
- Access from all 4 sides due to no sway bracing
- Installs easily due to no hardware
Disadvantages
- Only open style. Cannot have closed sides and backs
- Cannot use dividers to accommodate product segmentation
- Particle board or plywood shelves may not be an option in certain municipalities
